Evolution Of Miyu

Happy Winter Solstice!
And also, a Happy Birthday to my first real original character, Miyu Starre!
Many years ago, I mean like more than 10, I created her from a dream. In this dream, I was her but with an awesome power to shoot light beams from my hand. The dream turned into an idea and the idea turned into her story. That story then became my first original work, Red Moon.

Now just like my art here (which I'm embarrassed to show the old stuff on the left) Miyu has evolved over the years. But her overall design and personality has stayed the same. She's princess reborn but chooses to ignore her past and live as her own person. Still, fate and destiny push her towards the thing she needs most even though she had shunned it away. Miyu overcomes loss, rejection, fear, and pain to find what it is she needs. And that happens to be love.

One day I hope to share Miyu's story with more than just a hand full of friends.
For now, I'm glad she's come into my life.
She's helped me change my own future and continues to help me move forward, one step at a time.
